At six in the morning,
I woke up and I saw:
A big white van,
right outside my door.
And so I thought:
I'd blog about it,
I'd blog, blog about it, yeah!

At seven in the morning,
I had a bath.
And there was a wasp,
Buzzing in my path.
And so I thought:
I'd blog about it,
I'd blog, blog about it, yeah!

And so I login,
And I check those comments;
And I blog, blog, blog;
Got some blogging to do.
And read those 'scriptions,
And blogrings; communities.
I've got some blogging to do-o.

I had Kellogg's for breakfast,
But the milk tasted funny.
And then I realized:
There was something with the fridge.
Then I went for classes,
And the lecturer said:
"dp over dx";
I knew I was so dead.

And so I login,
And I check those comments;
And I blog, blog, blog;
Got some blogging to do.
And read those 'scriptions,
And blogrings; communities.
I've got some blogging to do-o.

After classes,
I ate at choiceless,
It tasted so awful:
I made such a mess.
And so I thought:
I'd blog about it,
I'd blog, blog about it, yeah!

I went down to town,
I needed some things;
But the shops was all closed,
My stomach was growling.
And so I thought:
I'd blog about it,
I'd blog, blog about it, yeah!

And so I login,
And I check those comments;
And I blog, blog, blog;
Got some blogging to do.
And read those 'scriptions,
And blogrings; communities.
I've got some blogging to do-o.

That evening,
I went online.
I got no comments,
Made me feel quite annoyed.
I stayed up all night,
Playing SimCity.
I finished at six,
When I fell asleep

And so I login,
And I check those comments;
And I blog, blog, blog;
Got some blogging to do.
And read those 'scriptions,
And blogrings; communities.
I've got some blogging to do-o.

And so I login,

The idea for a blogging song bubbled out of my head after listening to some comedy tracks. So then I thought - what about a blogging song?" I doubt I'd be the first, but it's still something I should do. After all, it was something I spent a -err- non-negligible amount of time on. It was worth a song. So, then, I decided to write a song on my blogging experience. The lyrics are not entirely fictional - nor are they completely true; they are based on real events, though modified to fit a comedy song. Lyrics composed between 20040428-20040522; music composed between 20040521-20040524.

Video
The video is done in an 'animutational'-style because I felt the song was so 'animutatable' (gosh, I'm coining new words!) Parts were influenced by my "Coconut Copiers" animutation, which was in turn, influenced by various other animutations. All artwork by Si Chun LAM; made with Macromedia Flash MX, Irfanview, and Microsoft Paint. I'm terribly sorry about the horrid artwork, but I'm not an artist so you'll have to live with it! Various logos/companies/products have been featured - I am in no way affiliated with any of the products/companies mentioned in the video - I hope the organizations understand "free speech" and will not complain about it! (Hint: Think of it as a parody!!!) I think I've got to be rather weird to come up with some of these stuff but hopefully you enjoy it!!!! Produced by Si Chun LAM 20040524-20040528 - really quick haha - I'm getting better at Flash - and it's my first ever proper loader! (Code is from "Yet another Flash MX loader" after I failed making my own!) Hehe.
